Curriculum

Every class, group and child is unique and has different needs at different times. SPP uniquely weaves research-based skills through daily, weekly, monthly activities and discovery projects. As children participate in School activities, they are naturally exposed to skills which support their on-going social-emotional, physical, language and cognitive development. These skills, when combined with a nurturing environment, intentional teaching practices, and meaningful relationships lead to overall development of a child. Some of the things we focus on during our day are:

Social and Emotional Development

Whole child social and emotional development with families involvement and continued growth beyond preschool years.

Art

Physical Development

Our large preschool facility is welcoming and designed in a way that encourages movement and exploration.

Language and Literacy

Storytelling, journaling and drawing.

Manipulatives and Reasoning

Block, puzzles and game with free play and free choice helps develop knowledge the child's environment using real objects and concrete examples. :

Cooking and Gardening

Children love to be little chefs and get to play with real foods right from our our garden. Many of our snacks come right out of our garden.
